Patong Beach, Thailand -- On Feb 1, the 2004 Phuket Gay Festival held its 5th parade down Beach Road and back up to the Paradise Complex for the post-parade street party. Congratulations for another big success to organizers Khun Bon, Khun Daeng, and Khun Tangmo, and Khun Simon!
Huge crowds gathered, often running into the street to have their pictures taken with the techicolor-costumed marchers. The parade was presided over by VIP guests, Thai Senator Paiboon Aoopathasing; the Chief of Police, Khun Chalit; and PGF2004 coordinator Khun Arno.
There were handsome hunks aplenty, both in the parade and watching from the sidelines.
It was a sunny-perfect Phuket day with minimum apparel being the standard dress code.
Creative outfits demostrated Asian Pride as with these Indonesian-flavoured divas. Thai, Chinese, and Korean traditional dress also made a colorful splash.
And, of course, it was the moment to shine for many of the island's cabaret performers who came out in their feathers, bangles and beads.
Fabulous faces and smiles at the street party...
