Dr. Wei Siang Yu hopes young people will use this method to ask questions which they would normally be too embarrassed pose, regarding topics like safer sex, masturbation or homosexuality. Experts from Amsterdam, Melbourne and Singapore are standing by. Action for AIDS, a local AIDS/HIV organization which is supporting the program, says that HIV is as prevalent in this nation of 4 million as in other developed countries. More than fifteen hundred nations, with more than 1,500 registered HIV cases at the end of 2001. |
