Singapore's DSC Clinic is hosting a presentation on Oct 26 regarding the MSM (men who have sex with men) community in China and also HIV/AIDS in Henan province. Gay activist, Chung To, of the Hong Kong Chi Heng Foundation will share the experiences of recent visits to Henan province in China where he spent time with households in six villages.The Chi Heng Foundation promotes the rights of sexual minorities in China. It also does a lot of HIV/AIDS-related work in different parts of the mainland. Chung To is also the Chairperson of AIDS Concern, one of the main HIV/AIDS non-government organizations in Hong Kong. Interested persons are invited to attend the presentation from 2-4pm in the Lecture Room of the DSC Clinic at 31 Kelantan Lane, #01-16 (the Lecture Room is on the 2nd level). Kelantan Lane is off Jalan Besar and the nearest major landmark would be Sim Lim Tower. |
