THAILAND - Oct 10, 2002

Bangkok Pride officials have announced that the 4th Pride Parade has received official approval from the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, the Prime Minister’s office and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The parade will take place at 5pm on Sunday, Nov 17 and the route will change slightly to take advantage of the closure of Silom Road, going up the South side and then returning down the North side of the Street. A stage will be set up in the Sky Train median strip opposite Silom Soi 4.

As with last year's parade, the theme will highlight traditional Thai and Asian costume and culture. If anyone would like to march with Utopia in the parade, please let us know as we are planning an impressive parade presence.

The month-long festivities have already kicked off with an ongoing Film Festival. Click here for a current schedule of events.
