HO CHI MINH CITY - SAIGON: Saunas for Men

HO CHI MINH CITY / SAIGON -- area code (84-8)

Popular Spots

Saunas and Fitness for Men

      DISTRICT 1

    • Ho Chi Minh Blind Association
185 Cong Quynh St Dist 1. A sign tacked to a tree in the courtyard points the way to 'Massage' at the top of the stairs where a woman takes your money and gives you a blue card for the sauna (massage is also available and for that you purchase a yellow card). The staff speak no English so you might want to go with a local friend. The sauna area has a locker room, indoor and outdoor seating, three shower stalls with lockable doors and a sauna which the patrons turn into a steam room by applying large quantities of water. A good place for fun if you don't mind dirty towels, broken facilities and non-functional shower taps. Age group is a bit older and they are very friendly. Some customers speak English and are keen to talk. Some straight female clients.

      DISTRICT 3

    • Vat Ly Tri Lieu (Physiotherapy) (mixed)
70 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, District 3. A small lane leads into the club. Mainly a pick up place. Use as a meeting point and then have fun elsewhere (there are masseuses here, not masseurs). Pool and steam room.

      Comments from Utopians:

"I went to massage place called Vat Ly Tri Lieu at 70 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan St, Ward 7, Dist 3, around 4-9pm. It's gay freindly and almost everyone there was gay. Lots happening in the sauna room. But, it's not a gay massage." -- mike661, Oct 7, 2009

      DISTRICT 10

    • Adam Spa
MOVING SOON TO A BRAND NEW LOCATION (formerly at 573/12 Su Van Hanh St, Ward 13, Dist 10).
    • Golden Smile Club (mixed)
656 Su Van Hanh, District 10, 862-6119, email. Gym, steam, dry sauna, jacuzzi, Net access, bar, facial/body/foot relaxation services. It also has an outdoor deck, a beansack lounge, and a relaxing TV/Bar. Young crowd and the staff is helpful.

        Comments from Utopians:

"I just been to Golden Smile Club. It is relatively small. The active area is on 2/F with two toilets, a small sauna, medium sized steam room and a jacuzzi. In front of the jacuzzi is a small sitting area and there is also an outdoor sitting area. The entrance for sauna is only D$90,000 or D$120,000 for massage and sauna." -- Mike_80, Jun 3, 2010

"Golden Smile Club is alive and happening. It needs a good clean up and the towels need to be replaced. They need to allow smoking only on the deck area and not everywhere else. There is no shortage of men who will have good fun with you in the steam room! The locals seem to be a little reserved at first. Most action happens after 4pm, but I went once around noon and there was a lot happening." -- , Jan 16, 2010

"The place is hardly clean with a very funny smelling steam room. Sauna and jacuzzi are not too bad. I was there on a Fri late afternoon and the crowd was nothing to write home about. One or two hotties." -- dutchie26, Jun 16, 2009

    • Toan Thang Sauna
126 Thanh Thai, P12, Dist 10, 863-2096. On five levels. Entry is up a flight of stairs at the back of a long room used for motorbike parking. 1/F has reception and small lockers for storage of valuables (not clothing). 2/F is women's massage. 3/F is men's massage room containing seven massage tables separated by flimsy curtains. Also, a spacious bathroom and a semi-dark room. 4/F has a TV lounge with two dozen plastic chairs facing a small wall-mounted TV and at the rear, a rack for hanging clothing on hangers, another bathroom and small sauna. 5/F, up a spiral staircase, is a roof-top drying area for towels. Clean and fairly well maintained by Vietnamese standards. The mostly younger crowd is friendly and you can find a few English speakers.

      OTHER AREAS

    • Ha Son Spa for Men
See lising under Massage and Spas. Lots of gorgeous and muscular guys on weekends. There are no private rooms, but people usually flirt in the sauna and steam rooms.
    • Nadam Spa
See listing under Massage and Spas.

        Comments from Utopians:

"We visited Nadam Spa on a recent trip. It is a very well run establishment. Very clean, two spas, cruisy shower area, and upstairs for playing. The men are friendly and fun in my experience. The outside garden resting area is well appointed. An added bonus is a piano playing attendant!" -- maddie, Apr 23, 2010

      Comments from Utopians:

"New sauna open: name Quyet Thang 2 at 212 Thong Nhat Phuong 16 Quan, Go Vap. Open daily 9am-11pm. They have sauna, steambath, jacuzzi and blind masseurs. Very cheap price." -- longsggv, Apr 27, 2010
